Not a bad first game here! Very simple, but should give fun matches with a friend. The matches should stay very even, since the more of those animals the opponent has coloured, the better chance you have of bumping into them. I also liked the epic music. Could've had maybe some kind of visible timer to know when the match ends. If you're interested, you could take part in our contest, the Game Development World Championship!
Thank you so much GDWC for your constructive compliment we are now on a little bit bigger project . Spread Battle was a game made my our group of five students on the last Global Game Jam 2018. It was a game made by us as the absolute beginners, just within 48 hours. Now our team with just three members are working on our new game. The new game will be "A point and click 2D isometric action game set in a Xianxia-inspired fantasy world". Our group will be publishing it within a week. Just be attentive to our publication. By the way how does the Game Development World Championship function?
It's an annual contest to find out the best indie games of the year. Developers can enter games into two main categories (Pro and Hobby) and also special categories, like one for jam games. Here's where it happens: www.thegdwc.com. The winners are chosen by a jury in October. Multiple games can be entered by each, so you can enter both of your games. Your new game sounds promising, so I'll keep an eye open for it when looking for the new releases!
